Happy winter solstice, enjoy the shortest day of the year and the real start to winter!

We are currently proof-reading the semester 1 school reports. These will be coming home with students on Monday July 1^st.  Parent Teacher interviews will be held, for most classes, in week 2 next term (29 & 30 July). Instructions to book times for the P/T interviews will come with your child’s report.

Our Catholic Identity This past week we have celebrated the Holy Trinity. It is a very old tradition and it reminds us of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We love investigating 2D shapes with our morning activities, shaking it up with Ground Force as well as taking part in the Catholic Education Week activities.

During week 9 the SRC team will be holding a fundraiser to support Mercy House of Welcome. We will be having a movie session in the library at lunch the cost will be a gold coin entry fee. All funds raised will be going to Mercy House of Welcome, You can find out more about what they do here:

A school thrives when it also has volunteers to support the beautiful children allowing them to flourish. This is the strength of a community working in partnership.  Here at Rosary School, this is truly evident.

Refugee Week is an incredible opportunity for the whole nation to celebrate the contribution refugees make to our society, while raising awareness, remembering and honouring the often perilous journey that refugees have taken to reach Australia.

We had the pleasure of meeting Ms Humphries baby boy this week!
