It has been an honour to work alongside you all. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and gained a great deal in my time here.

Year 6 Graduating Classes of 2020

For our year 6 graduating classes you have been resilient and adaptable!

It has been said that it is not our abilities that show who we truly are, it is the choices we make – this is especially true when viewed through the lens of our 2020 Theme: 'A Heart that Sees'.

Being a student of Rosary School means being part of a community of strong, creative and caring people. As a group of year 6 student leaders, you have embodied a heart that sees in your wonderful leadership:

• Looking after our younger students - taking the time to mentor some of our reception       students - teaching them how to play and solve friendship issues

• Introducing the kindness awards and being role models by living out acts of kindness

• When the Black Lives Matter movement rose up this year across the world, you wanted to explore the issues and see what actions we could take as a community to ensure inclusivity

• Participating in the Hutt Street ‘Walk a mile in my Boots’

Role Model Talks

We were very fortunate to have 4 former Rosary School students return to share their stories and thoughts on learning and achieving goals in sport. They are all very successful in their own right. More impressive, however, is the humility and gratitude they have shown over the years and continue to model. We are very proud of their achievements and the young people they have grown to be.

P & F Committee 2020 Wrap Up

This year the P&F Committee has demonstrated a strong will, commitment and dedication to all parents and friends of Rosary by upholding the values of our school and community, continually improving the culture, driving change and delivering initiatives through active engagement. But most importantly paving the way forward to bring together parents, families, friends, students, teachers alike.

From “A Heart that sees” perspective it is fair to say we have all seen so much this year, these unprecedented times have brought much uncertainty, angst, anxiousness, challenges and change. However, through it all we have all adapted and conformed to the restrictions placed upon us; a true test of character, strength and courage but most importantly a sign of just how resilient we all can be. Please read more here.
