To kickstart Rosary’s 2021 fundraising for Project Compassion we will be celebrating Shrove Tuesday in week 4 (16th February). This day precedes the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday and is a time as Christians, we are encouraged to go to confession in preparation for the Lenten season that ends with Easter Sunday. During Lent, we remember the 40 days and 40 nights that Jesus went into the desert to fast and pray. We invite students to bring along a gold coin donation to enjoy a pancake with their class.
